Ulm
This is the main campus and where traditionnally most of the first year students live. Yet, not all of them if there are too many requests.
Rooms of the Carré are big and rather beautiful, some have even mezzanines. As lots of people enjoy these rooms, you have to use most of the times three jokers to live in there.
There is a very pleasant view for half of them, which windows open on the Courô ; though, there are rather noisy, especially in spring, when the people often end their night party outside. K-Fêt music is to be heard on C stairways : don't ask a room there if you can't stand noise!
The other rooms in Ulm (Rataud, Erasme, Annexe and NIR) are smaller but still nice (for most of them). Most of the time, they are attributed for first year students and PE (international students which are not SI).
Rataud and Erasme are both located in the historical building and have been recently renovated. The ambiance in there is rather good, as people most of the time know their room neighbours and meet in the very nice kitchen.
The ambiance is very nice in the Annexe too ; the major problem of this building is that sound-insulation... well, there is no sound-insulation.
Sound-insulation is quite efficient in the NIR but this building has some thermic insulation problems since it was built. The ambiance is much quieter than in other corridors, which is not that bad when you are supposed to work on your exams. The kitchen are quite big, too.
Annexe
The Annexe is at the 44/48 rue d'Ulm (in front of the historical building and next to the Biology building). There are 6 floors. All rooms are pretty similar. The color and kitchen of each corridor vary.

Rataud/Erasme
Located at 45 rue d'Ulm, the Rataud (also called BF) and Erasme (also called CG) corridors are on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the main building.

NIR
To reach the NIR (Nouvel Immeuble Rataud), cross the courtyard of the NIR, just after the Courô and the war memorial! The entrance to the boarding school is either via the lift (on the left as you enter the library hallway) or via the heavy metal door opposite the lift.

Rouge
At 45 rue d'Ulm, 2nd floor of the CD corridor. Historic corridor belonging to the Carré.

Jourdan
Equipped with a classroom building and brand new dormitories, the Jourdan campus (48 boulevard Jourdan, Paris) houses the departments of economics, social sciences and geography. The rooms are therefore mainly occupied by first-year students (especially in Hypnos 2), PE students and people taking courses on the campus, but also by people attracted by the green setting (and the Montsouris park just next door).
The Hypnos 2 building, which rooms are given priority to first-year students, is brand new: it has been completely redone for the start of the school year in 2021.

Hypnos 1
3-floor building, renovated in 2017.

Montrouge

Campus located at 1 rue Maurice Arnoux, Montrouge. It has 3 towers of individual rooms (A, B and C, tower A was renovated the most recently, and tower B the most anciently). The rooms at Montrouge are slightly larger than the first-year students' rooms at Ulm (12sm), with a shower in the room. The towers are organised in floors of 16 rooms at the most, often with a trunk room on the odd floors, and a kitchen on each floor. The atmosphere is generally very friendly, as the floors are formed by groups of friends. In general, the lower floors are the quietest; the party people are at the top of the towers.

Apartments in tower L
Available since 2017 only, a number of studios F2 to F4 are available in Montrouge's L tower. Their number varies at each TG but all have living rooms, kitchen, shower-toilet and a variable number of bedrooms (consult the plans for a better view).
Their particularity is that they are rented for 11 months (from 1st September to 31st July with 11-month leases). The prices are fixed by a CA decision. The prices are currently as follows:
- F2: 825€/month, one person on the lease
- F3: 1100€/month, two people on the lease (therefore only available for pairs)
- F4: 1302€/month, three people on the lease (only available for trios)
CROUS studios
They are reserved for international students, in particular International Selection students, and are located in the Tombe Issoire and Daviel residences, the rents are a little higher than the fees at the dormitories (between 350 and 380€), but they have a kitchen and an individual bathroom. If there are not enough SI applications, scholarship holders can apply.
Those wishing to apply for an exthurnes must put "CROUS" at the top of their wishes at the TG.
