We are happy to announce that the report of the general assembly (AG) of the 4th of March (which was mainly about the reform of the room attribution) is out. You can read it here (no english version) : https://www.dg.ens.fr/fr/banalites/compte-rendus/. We strongly encourage you to read it : the reform is technical but will have a large impact on everyone's lives. About that, we regret that many first year students did not attend the AG. Since they will be the more impacted by an upcoming reform, we encourage them to be more involved in the future.

After that AG, the assembly voted to pursue the "UDG" reform, which was not supported by the DG, in order to submit it to a referendum later. Hence, the DG will create a DS ("délégation spéciale"), which will be in charge of the reform. If you are interested, you are welcome : please send a message to the DG (dg[at]ens.fr) and/or to the currently working group (on merle : https://merle.eleves.ens.fr/dg/channels/reforme-thurnage). This will allow us to keep you in touch for the recruiting process, but does not bind you in any way.

Hello everyone,

Last November, the DG 2020 launched an effort to ponder upon the future of the Thurnage system. A General Assembly was held and selected 2 major ideas to be explored: the so-called "UDGs" reform and the "4 jokers" reform. A task force was created to evaluate the feasibility of these ideas and to propose a concrete implementation, they have submitted their conclusions.

Therefore, we announce a new General Assembly on Thursday March 4th at 8:30 pm on GotoMeeting <https://www.gotomeet.me/DélégationGénérale> in order to present the results of the task force and to define together the orientation of the future reform.
